3/11 Bringing the Ring of Fire full circle (UPDATED)

The big news of the day is of course the massive earthquake in Japan. Luckily, all of our family and friends who live there seem to be okay for now. What gets me is that everything about todays events seem to be a sort of culmination of patterns I've been watching since the end of 2010. I even knew today would be a major date. Aside from the obvious fact that 3/11 is 33, all my personal syncs and intuition has led me to keep an eye out for today as a big day.

So let's spell some of it out shall we?

What were the patterns of the last few months? The Ring of Fire, the Moon, StarCup or HolyGrail, Nuclear disaster coinciding with Aliens, Twin Sons/Suns, Alchemical Reddening, Meteors seeding life on Earth, and even Winona Ryder/Johnny Depp.

For anyone who wants to look back, these were themes we saw all over our DismemberedDecember Series and JanuaryToRe-Member. Which of course led into a post about TheRingOfFire.

Things ramped up earlier this week, when we got the quickly-retracted "major" news of extraterrestrial life in meteorites seeding Earth. Once I realized the scientist was named "co3k sucker," I knew NASA was pulling a fast one.

But it fit the pattern so neatly that it really doesn't matter. Besides, if you're waiting for NASA to tell you what's up, you're wasting your time.

However, if it's Aliens that you want, Hollywood was offering up a smorgasbord today.

Before leaving "Red Dawn" check out this sync I found while looking for the date of the upcoming "Cowboys and Aliens" release.

But, if you remember, the pattern was Aliens and Nuclear Disaster, not earthquakes. However, we are now we're getting news of high radiation levels at a Japanese reactor.

And really? REALLY? Is that Edward Scissorhands peeking at us? We just looked at him in the HeartShapedBox post.

We also had the Aliens connected with the Moon theme. I watched "Killer Klowns from Outer Space" last week and it was insanely rich with syncro-goodies. That's the story of an alien invasion in a town called "Crescent Cove" - syncing nicely with today's news out of "Crescent City Harbor."

The crescent moon also has strong symbolic ties to the MidEast, where there has been much in the way of turbulence and shifting. We could even look at the rearranged letters giving us both "Tunisia" and "Tsunami" in the same news feed:

Melissa and I have been watching a lot of SailorMoon lately, as I've mentioned, and last night I saw this striking image:

When I posted that combo on Facebook, I got hit with some more syncs (including more Scissorhands):

Let's also note that this episode focuses around a character named Elsa Gray (which is a combo of the nuke-dropping Enola Gay and the alien resonating "gray").

This season of Sailor Moon is all about finding the Holy Grail and the Messiah to avert the end of the world. Funny that I should see StrangEye breaking down the semiotics of these same themes in the middle of the Earthquake:

There's more (mostly having to do with the cupid/pierced heart leading to the holy grail), but I want to try and keep this concise and approachable. That'll all have to wait for a later post.

So, as tragic as all this is, and please let us hope and pray that there is no actual nuclear disaster or further death, the patterns have led me to this weird place of things being really okay in the end. In fact, better than okay. We just have to get through the shakeup first.

UPDATE:

Now the SyncWhole has verified the connection between "meteor's seeding earth with alien life" in BattleLA and the Tsunami.

"In Battle: LA the aliens arrive as meteors striking the oceans just off the coastline of major cities, causing panic and sea side evacuations around the world echoing vividly the Tsunami situation in Japan. The very first bit of dialogue in the film, as the torch bearing Columbia is still filling our screens, mentions the meteors hitting off the coast of Tokyo. Above we see the ticker read "Coast of Japan". The aliens march out of the waves up unto the beaches of the world."

And now we see another nod to the Dismembered God who resonates with 14, in the form of this story: "14 Dead, One Decapitated"


And, of course, the bus was returning from Mohegan Sun.

Remembering that Saturn and Osiris and even Jesus (as killed and reborn lame gods of the underworld) are all essentially interchangable archetypes, perhaps now is a good time to mention that the "messiah" in the SailorMoon series turns out to be a sick little girl who is finally revealed to be the lame god Saturn who is restored by the power of the Grail.

Only 5 more days till the 3/17, the date of Osiris' death.

Confirmation

I was raised Roman Catholic (shudder) so the word "confirmation" is a little loaded for me. Back when I was a kid and made to undergo the rite of confirmation, which is supposed to be the moment you decide for yourself that this is what you truly believe, a magical thing happened. While I was supposed to be standing there confirming that this prefabricated dogma constituted my belief system, which the church bills as some sort of passageway into adulthood, I did in fact find myself making an adult religious decision for the first time.

They give you these wacky remarks and you're supposed to vow "I do" or whatever. Things like "I believe Jesus died on the cross for my sins and is the true son of god......." etc etc. But, then they threw in there some things I had never heard of and had never pondered before, and I decided I wasn't about to confirm I believed in them. For example, they said something to the extent of "I believe Satan is [really bad and fell from heaven...etc]" But I had never before pondered the existence of a devil, and the idea of some red pointy guy just seemed laughable to me. So, while everyone else declared "This I do believe," I just stood there silently. I didn't walk out or make a scene, I just chose not to make vows to the effect that I believed in something that I didn't believe in.

It was a quiet rebellion, one that only I was privy to. And yet, that's what made it so important. I realized then and there that I didn't need to prove anything to that church or anyone for that matter. What was important was that I found the answers for myself.

Fast forward to my current sync studies. I have proven to my own satisfaction that there is a method to the madness.

In December I was writing about Planes and Superman, forgetting the third part of the equation is Birds. So birds are all over the news at the beginning of January. I spend the rest of the month writing about Monopoly Revolution, Mars, and the Ring of Fire.

The Monopoly Revolution, as connected to Mars, seemed to foreshadow Revolution in Cairo(which is named after Mars). And today, Michael sends me a sync-ready Monopoly story, where the new gameboard features a Hal computer (or as Michael wrote "all knowing tower of Sauron").

Now to the Ring of Fire:

In a few minutes, the Phoenix should take to the skies once again. With Astro-knots/nuts Boe and Bowen (Dave Bowman) on board.

Isn't this little space opera a year too late?

Meanwhile, warships have arrived in Sirius.

So, what all of these sync-hits are telling me is that we're really on to something. There's no denying that. I'm not trying to boost myself here - I'm talking about all of us. We have an ability to transcend the linear view of time, or at least notice symbolic waves as they approach our linear beach. Our methods are not perfect, our results are not perfect, but we're getting pretty good.

These continued hits have kept me going, even when it seemed like at times my work was devolving into jibberish. If you read this blog regularly, you've no doubt seen the little syncmaps I sometimes make out of newsfeeds, connecting dots of similar word patterns or meanings. I felt sure there was a pattern there, but it seemed too abstract and I was beginning to have doubts. Step in JonKidd. His video confirmed - well, maybe not confirmed, but at least supported continued study, of this approach. Wanna talk about seemingly abstract patterns? How about this?

This Wheel's On Fire

Just before the birds and fish started dropping dead, big-wig John Wheeler was found dead in a dumpster. He was a former Bush aide (Burning Bush), CFR member, SEC secretary and consultant to the Mitre corporation - among other resume builders. It seems like he knew something that someone didn’t want leaked. He was most likely killed to keep him quiet. Can’t have guys inside the dark loop being too “Gabby.”
Speaking of assassinations, I find it intriguing that yesterday morning I saw two NY newspapers with front page headlines about the recently shot congresswoman where they refer to her as “Gabby.” Just saying.

Anyway, John Wheeler shares a name with a member of ye olde Planeteers. In the Captain Planet cartoon, Wheeler controlled the element of Fire with his magic RING.

I’ve written about Wheeler before, connecting him to a Mr. Wheelock, an astronaut who just left ISIS, and who was replaced by congresswoman GG/77’s brother-in-law! Wheelock tweeted from aboard ISIS from the twitter name @Astro_Wheels. And let’s not forget, Gabby/GG/77 ‘s husband is also an astronaut and he’ll be on the last shuttle mission to ISIS. If I had any reason to believe that NASA had a habit of ritualizing their missions, I might speculate… Nah, NASA doesn’t do that. :)

Much credit to Jim @Syncwinnipeg for talking about the movie The Astronaut’s Wife the entire week before the shooting and for his quick draw on posting the last mission patch. I've now seen 3 other sites talking about that movie, but Jim deserves the credit big time.

I made note that the patch is a 6-pointed star, ala the Hex-Star of David. If we look for GG’s husband, a Mr. Mark Kelly, we see that his name is at the top of the upward facing triangle. Which puts him in the position of representing alchemical Fire.

In December, a bunch of us were playing with the reshuffling of the M/W/E/3 spinner in Mars into arMs, how Mars is the god of Wars also known as arEs which is symbolized by raMs. In military terms, arMs are associated with Fire-power and so too does Mars go hand-in-hand with Fire. Mars is the planet most associated with “little green men” and Wars are fought by “little green men.”

You can also scramble that combo into Ears. I had tweeted about the Mars symbolism in the first birds to drop from the sky on New Year’s Day being Red-Winged Blackbirds and the first wave of dead fish being Drum Fish.

We already looked at how the dead birds resonate with Rings and the fire-bird phoenix in the last post, but since TheSyncWhole is writing about the Dead Birds as DBs, I’ll give you another DB as in Dylan, Bob. He co-wrote a song called This Wheel’s On Fire with Rick Danko, my favorite member of The Band (which we talked about in the very first Birds and Bees post).

Perhaps, as we’re entering the Year of The Rabbit (and we’ve already looked at the ways in which this is the Year of The Flaming Rabbit/Hare/Hair) we are talking about This Wheel (of the Year) On Fire.

Speaking of Rabbits, I have a post saved in “drafts” that I started months and months ago. I don’t think I’ll ever publish it. As it deals with Sapphires, I was going to pull a small bit from it for the last post. What’s freaky, is that I was going to pull the part about a book I started writing in 2005 called 77 Bullets from a Blue Bunny Gun (don’t think I’ll ever publish that either, for the same reason – it’s too depressing). Now, that I was going to write about 77 and a gun (the day before GG/77 got shot) is pretty interesting, but that draft post also deals with Mars and Bob Dylan! Go figure.
In 2005, when I started that book, I had no idea what a loaded number 77 was, it was just the number my subconscious associated with The Blue Bunny, who is a literal representation of depression and paranoia.

Just a quick aside, I ended up incorporating The Blue Bunny (and his gun) into Look At All The Happy Creatures. Take a peek at the book cover on the top-right of this blog – see the Blue Bunny ears? When I finished writing the last word of the novel, at 7:22PM and realized the book ended on page 227, I started thinking about how Pi might be unknowingly encoded into the book. (Recall that 22/7 is a common ratio for Pi). I realized a day or two later that “Blue Bunny Gun” (BBG) is also 227. I could go into a long-winded explanation of what I think that means, but basically it’s the moral of the book and what the cover image represents (BB ears also a heart). It breaks down to this: The Light and The Dark are one and the same. Good and Evil are aspects of one another. The Beauty is The Beast. Etc and on and on. You get it.

But, since I was going to write about paranoia, I’ll point out that it’s pretty interesting that GG/77’s shooter, Jared Loughner (which is obviously “Loner”) was obsessed with mind control and that her husband’s initials are MK.

When I see things like the new Monopoly set we looked at in the last post, it tells me that someone is trying to instigate a fight.

Be careful out there folks, there’s a Phony Revolution a brewing. I don’t know who would benefit from getting frightened people to stock up on guns and shoot at low-level puppets… ^Cough^ ^Military Industrial Complex^ ^Cough^ …but, we here know that’s not a Real revolution. Any real or meaningful revolution is going to require discarding the control system, not fighting it. As we see again and again with guys like “Loner,” fighting institutionalized madness only turns people into that which they despise.

Brutal sh9t happens every day in this world and we’ve got a slew of challenges, but I remain hopeful. We’re having this conversation right now. On a regular basis I read amazing posts on your blogs, I get inspiring comments here on this one. Maybe it’s just me, but I feel like we’re making some real progress. “I’ve got to admit it’s getting better, a little better all the time (it can’t get no worse).” We’re working through our inner turmoil and seeing that it’s all reflected in the world around us. So we keep looking into the mirror, keep cleaning house and we’ll get there. We’ll get there.

Until then, “I’m just sitting here watching the wheels [on fire] go round and round.”

Postscript:

There is a whole other angle going on at play here, which I thought I should just document a little further. The previous post was all about the Saturn/Osiris connection to the Ring and the GG/77 shooting and all that. That energy is still resonating really strongly.

• Remember, Osiris was known as the "Green Man."
• One of the victims of last weeks shooting was Christ-ina Green.
• Michael commented that GG/77's husband is Mark Kelly and "Kelly" is a shade of Green.
• Dumpster-diving big-wig John Wheeler was apparently known as John "Jack" Wheeler (Jack is a common reference to Osiris.... a fact which makes watching the movie Stargate feel like you're getting repeatedly beat upon the head, since every other word is "Jack" or "Jack's son" or "Jackson")
• A major aspect of the Osiris myth is his castration. Well, happening at the same time as these other interwoven events, there was a violent castration and murder here in NY on 44th street. The story also involves the words "pale blue" and "corkscrew," which make me think back to the Norway Spiral.
• Lastly, Evergreen Solar has been run by a Saturn/Osiris resonator, Michael El-Hillow, since September. Aside from the "Green Sun" connection, see EL as another variation on Saturn/Osiris. I documented that when it happened, knowing it would become important again:

Deconstructing December's Dismemberment PT3

Last month, Michael from Gosporn sent me this photo in an email with the message "coffee + circumpunct = smiley face"

He was inspired by the coffee cup next to the "tear in the fabric of space" we looked at in the K2 SyncStrom Goes POP! post.

I ended PT1 of this series with the note that I've been caught in a pattern where smiley faces keep coming up as connected to stargates or wormholes.

In Part2 of this series, we looked at some of Terry Gilliam's films as they connect to stargates and revisited the idea of Heath Ledger as the Hanged Man.

Recall that, in Gilliam's Dr. Parnassus, Ledger is found with a rope around his neck and a Hanged Man Tarot card in his pocket:

Ledger is found by Parnassus' crew, which includes Verne Troyer, the ever-present microcosm or MiniMe.

Recalling TheSyncWhole's Severed Fist post, Gilliam had two films produced by George Harrison's film company, HAND Made Films, which even has a dismembered Hand as its logo.

One of these films was Life of Brian, which we looked at in Pt2.

The other is Time Bandits - and it stars a bunch of MiniWe's, including Kenny Baker, who played R2D2. Aside from the obvious hand-severing StarWars sync, there's a personal connection here for me. Years ago I did a comic with the uber-talented Jeff Plotkin where Kenny Baker is a bad-guy that teleports me, Alan, into a farflung future. In the story, Kenny Baker was the source of my time-travel (getting me lost in the time stream, actually). In the end, he is defeated by my ex-girlfriend, Rosa (herself an awesome artist - go check out her out). Weirder still, her birthday is the same day as the Winter Solstice and Lunar Eclipse.

Here's two pages from the comic just for kicks. I had to dig them out so I hope you enjoy em.

Anyway, I decided to rewatch Time Bandits last week and I had my mind sufficiently blown.

If you've never seen it, Imdb gives us this summary:

Kevin, an imaginative child, goes on a time-travelling adventure with a bunch of treasure-hunting dwarves, who have "borrowed" a map to the Universe's time holes from The Supreme Being.

About 5-10 minutes in, this scene gives us a shot of the television with a nice double-sync, where a Hanged Man has one of his limbs highlighted by a cast on his leg. So we know something important is about to happen.

Kevin turns away from the TV show his parents are watching and goes up into his room to await more high weirdness. What do I spy on the wall next to his bed? A smiley face! There is even something red dangling in front of the smiley face, giving us the bloodstained smile that was so iconic from the Watchmen comics. That'll be important later so keep that in mind.

Of course, confirming the smile=stargate pattern, right after we see the smiley face, a "tear in the fabric of space" opens up and brings all the MiniWe's into Kevin's room. He gets pushed up against the wall and we see a picture of a knight, just like the one that appeared in his room the evening prior. The knight is what first suggested that there was a "time hole" in his room . This syncs with Michael's look at the time-traveling Mark Twain book, A Connecticut Yankee In King Arthur's Court.

That last shot is (perhaps intentionally) in direct resonance with the Scott Pilgrim stargate that Eleleth examined on his blog.

But okay, maybe there's only so many ways to draw a stargate. But, if you want weird, as soon as the Time Bandits pass through the StarGate, the very next thing we see is a freaking goose and duck!

...See TheSyncWhole's Goose is Loose and my New York Duck posts as well as Eleleth's Donald Duck obsession - and I use that word affectionately :)

To make it sync-in, the falling Time Bandits actually land directly on our feathered friends.

So now they start explaining about how the map they have shows the locations of all the stargates or time holes or tears in the fabric of space or whatever term fits you best.

Something about all the map talk reminded me of a film I hadn't seen since it first came out, The Blair Witch Project. One of the few things I remember about that movie was when one of the guys intentionally throws their map into a river. Though it kills them in the end, the tossing away of the map actually allows the Blair Witch filmmakers to find the object of their original search. I forget all about Time Bandits, which is still playing on my TV, and get lost in a metaphysical question.

Something I keep thinking that all our synchronicity studies may be doing is mapping out the fractal nature of time and space. It's as if we are drawing up a map, perhaps even the one the Time Bandits hold. Yet, we have also come to understand that there is a natural flow to the universe. So, I start wondering if we should be following our fractal-maps or if we should just let the river carry us to our destination.

BAM! One of the Time Bandits says:

We all have those friends who "want to meet somebody" and wonder why they never find love. Isn't it true that one only finds love when they're not looking for it? Maybe that applies to everything. Maybe us grail searchers, if I may use that term poetically, can learn a lesson from that. I don't know what that means to any of you or how we can apply that in a practical fashion, I'm just cluing you in to the answer the universe gave me when I asked it something.

Just to quickly log the sync, the characters follow the river and it takes them to where they meet Napoleon. He's watching a puppet show (which ties in nicely with the hand-puppet as severed-hand connection made at TheSyncWhole). He also makes a point of telling them how tall he is, which is 5 feet 1 inch - giving us the 51 (3x17) we find associated with Osiris, Egypt's green-skinned dismembered god.

They next travel to where they meet another Green Man, Robin Hood - and the sync is cemented as they give Robin Hood the treasure they stole from the 5'1" Napoleon.

Robin Hood's thieves catch the Time Bandits in a snare trap (It's A Trap!) and all the MiniWe's are hanging upside down, bringing us back to the Hanged Man.

The Time Bandits try to convince the thieves that they are ruthless, and so are asked a few questions to prove their ruthlessness. Question number one: Would you...

Question number two: "Pick teeth from blind old ladies?"

You may recall that teeth were mentioned in the other post where I posted some of Jeff Plotkin's artwork.

Teeth are also brought up in connection with Smiley Faces in Steve Wilner's Cracks In The Wall #7. I highly recommend this podcast.

Question number three:

Ah, here we go. Dwarves hanging upside down being asked about children's toys. Not only did I do a post about "Toys" directly after getting that photo from Michael, but the SyncWhole team connected these two movie posters to the Decemberment theme:

And yes, that's Leslie Nielsen as Santa, who we already connected to George Harrison and their strange Stargate attraction. Remember, Harrison produced Time Bandits and recording music for it.

33 and 1/3: Reflection over face? Check. Baby bump? Check. Hey! You sunk my monolith.

But, let's back up a second. Gnomeo and Juliet?

In TheSyncWhole's most recent post, a connection is made between Shakespeare and crashing through windows. Specifically, they make reference to a Woody Allen film where Charlize Theron distracts the driver of a car (by making sexual passes at him while he's driving) and causes him to crash.

I remembered that the same thing happens in The Man Who Wasn't There, when Scarlett Johansson distracts Billy Bob Thorton. (Let's also note that they connect Theron to the Norse god Thor and Billy Bob's name actually is THORton.)

But, as to the Shakespeare-Broken Window thing, in Man Who Wasn't There, Thorton sits in front of a window talking to the man who he will later kill by spearing him through the neck! The character's name is Big Dave (Dave Bowman?) and he offers Thorton a cigar. He calls the cigars "Romeo and Juliet."

Now, let's examine that shot, cause there's a lot in there.

The first thing I noticed is that the light fixtures on the ceiling look a lot like the BatMan: Dark Knight logo. Remember, they are sitting in front of a glass window.

He's saying "Romeo and Juliet," echoing our hanged man...

...And of course we already know who he is.

Then I notice that the "N" in the circle, here it is again:

Is reminiscent of the perfume bottle showcased in Watchmen.

It's explained that the Thorton's wife, who Big Dave is sleeping with, works at this highlighted "N" department store so that she can get a discount on the perfume she likes.

Many of us have been toying with the Mars/Arms wordplay. Well, in Watchmen, that perfume bottle heralds a teleportation to Mars by a man with a circumpunct on his forehead, Dr Manhattan.

Now, once Big Dave and Thorton get into a fight, Thorton is pressed up against that window they were smoking in front of earlier. The glass cracks (echoing the Charlize Theron broken window).

This also echoes the opening scene to Watchmen, where a man wearing a smiley face button gets thrown through a window...

...getting that red mark over the smile which became Watchmen's trademark.

Although, it seems someone beat Alan Moore to the punch. That red mark over the smiley face was hiding in the corner of Kevin's room in Time Bandits. And it appeared just before he was taken through a "tear in the fabric of space."

The question is, are we witnessing a window being opened right now? What kind of future can we see on the other side? I, for one, see a bright tomorrow. I'm just hoping it doesn't take a crash to carry us across.
