Grok the Sync: Part 1

This week I had the pleasure of talking to Thomas Malone from Grok-the-Talk, a wonderful podcast from Japan. We hit on a number of topics related to The Sync Book and our studies here at All The Happy Creatures. Some of the threads discussed were the "17" enigma, the Tarot, archetypes and predicting emerging patterns, Charlie Sheen, the nature of reality, and the Osama/Obama KingKill. I really enjoyed this one and highly recommend everyone check it out.

We are planning to dive into the KingKill a bit deeper in Hour 2 as well as why I have included the phrase "Jack and JLL" into that pattern. Thomas regularly does shows on Gnostic practice with John Lamb Lash and he told me that he was fascinated by my inclusion of "JLL" into the mix, since that is how he often refers to John. Should be interesting.

Thank God It's Doomsday

In the second half of the previous post, I was trying to question what happens on that larger 4-d or 5-d scale as we manifest our fears, but there is of course also the practical question of how would it effect your life to think the world was ending...and the other sets of questions that arise if you're wrong. While I disagree with this guy's conclusion that these sorts of events disprove everything spiritual, I think it does a very good job of pointing out some of the effects of fear-mongering and even some of the existential dilemmas that the rapture believers will have to confront. ...Plus, the use of Ghostbusters footage and Blondie make for interesting syncs with our study.

----------

Last night I watched the Simpson's episode "Thank God It's Doomsday."

It was amazingly full of patterns we've been looking at both here and at Mask of God for the last month or so. I'm not really going to explain (I'll put links to other posts), but regular readers will recognize the significance of these images:

It starts with haircuts, syncing with the Heir to the Throne, the Hare or Year of Rabbit, the fact that I just cut my hair for the first time in 2 years, and on and on.

We get the unicorn, and not just a unicorn, but a unicorn in the mirror:
The siblings battle on the checkerboard:
Ralph is next onto the unicorn, and he wants to be....

(I just remembered, Charlie Brown was also mentioned the April 28th Wedding/KingKill post)

The Simpsons end up seeing a "Left Behind"-like movie about the Rapture:
There is also the mention of "golf" right away (Tiger Woods recently and exactly one year ago)

Only one of the twins is raptured. (Assimilation of the shadow?)
One of the first signs of the apocalypse is the blood of a WHALE
(see Prince of Wales and our "Birds & Bees" posts)

Hey, there's that anchor again:

"The stars fall from the sky"

Then the Green Man's arm is in a sling:

Homer uses pseudo-numerology and predicts the Rapture for May 18th, then revises it to May 19th. That's amazingly close to today's May 21st date that everyone has been looking at.

First thing Homer sees upon Rapture is Saturn (Osiris, lord of dead). But what's that hiding behind Saturn?
Our first view of heaven, and it looks kinda familiar:

Marge becomes Medusa:
And, this one is for you Doug. God makes the Jay-Z triangle hand sign, proving that God is a member of the Illuminati.

And, finally, Homer gets God to Undo the Rapture. How?
God: "To do what you're asking, I'd have to...turn back time."
Homer: "Superman did it."
God: "Fine Mr. Smartypants, I will undo the apocalypse."

Mini Big-Bangs and the Missiles who love them

If you have been following along with the last 3 posts (Sunspot 1117 and the Giraffe - K2 SyncStorm goes POP! - 117 and K2 "SuperSized" Sinkholes), where we essentially looked at a repetition of the number 117 and the "Giant Pop," you may get a kick out of the fact that on 11/7 the brains at CERN succeeded in generating "a Mini-Big Bang"

Michael from Gosporn writes about a dream his partner had the same night:
Var was shopping in a store in a cool city in the future (a common dream for him) when suddenly he was sort of sucked into another place or dimension (not so common). It was as if he was in a water-like fluid and he heard a voice telepathically tell him “Don’t be afraid of the way I look, I have no eyes and no muscles”. So he turned to look and saw a translucent entity floating next to him that he described as sort of like a jellyfish. They had a short conversation. Then he was exited from the fluid dimension, back into his dream, and from there quickly awoke.
When I pointed out the sync to Michael, he wrote:
I had seen the "Mystery Missile" story - and noted to myself that it was seen over Catalina Island, which is the island Melissa and I had a view of from our Pacific Ocean HoneyMoon retreat.

I had taken screen caps of the story, because it looked as if someone in the powers that print was trying to put a ufo spin on this thing mighty quickly.
ABC news embedded the completely unrelated "Air Force vets talk of ufos" video into their article (And I note the wink of "47 comments") and then we get the appearance of a "Grey" above it (along with the "adrift at sea" and the date 11/30, the next proposed date of the final NASA mission)
So that was where my head was at, looking at the story from that angle, before Michael's comment. However, just after Michael's comment, I see the Mystery Missile syncing with Shangri-La resorts.
This puts us into a Rabbit Hole that I don't have the time to spell out entirely, but here's the gist. Shangri-La from Wiki:
Shangri-La is a fictional place described in the 1933 novel Lost Horizon by British author James Hilton. In the book, "Shangri-La" is a mystical, harmonious valley, gently guided from alamasery, enclosed in the western end of the Kunlun Mountains. Shangri-La has become synonymous with any earthly paradise but particularly a mythical Himalayan utopia — a permanently happy land, isolated from the outside world. In the novel Lost Horizon, the people who live at Shangri-La are almost immortal, living years beyond the normal lifespan and only very slowly aging in appearance.

Shangri-La is connected to other metaphor-laced mystical locals such as Xanadu and Atlantis.
PS: regions of Saturn's moon Titan, something we've seen a lot of on this blog, are named after both Shangri-La(Titan) and Xanadu(Titan).

Atlantis resonates with Var's "fluid dimension" and all the water symbolism, as well as the CERN Big Bang since CERN's LHC, the thing that may well have torn a hole in the fabric of space, has two main components: ALICE and ATLAS.

Since Atlas and Atlantis are already intertwined mythologically, we can also look at the book "Atlas Shrugged," wherein the chapter entitled "Atlantis" we get a view of a hidden mountain valley that is very much like Shangri-La.

Atlas Shrugged takes us to the financial news of the day Michael wrote that comment.

And, I can go a step further, since the DuckTales episode "The Land of Tra-La-La" brings Shangri-La and AtlasShrugged-style inflation fears all into a neat little 20 minutes.

And, I now feel obligated to point out the seemingly phallic nature of the imagery that had been all over this "big bang" (wink wink, nudge nudge)
The image of the "Giant Pop" sure looks like a man ejaculating and we even get the word below it, "Ass"

Even the "Over the Hedge" "tear in the fabric of space" looks kinda phallic now that I think of it.

And the two big balls of energy that suddenly popped onto the world's radar as the sync field spoke of popping bubbles?
Well, I'll leave that to your imagination. You dirty minded people you.

I have to say this "Mystery Missile" seems to go back to one of my earliest posts, The Mystery of the Wandering Member, which connected all the Obelisks and assorted phallic imagery to Missiles.

Oh, and what does Drudge now place in the spot where Shangri-La appeared for that brief moment of shimmering time? Just this:

Oh, and dig this.
There was another mystery contrail, which the mainstream news also chose to connect to aliens for some reason, this one in my hometown. Guess these things are following me.
And what's that time-stamp in the corner? Just another 1117.

Amazingly, this all ties directly into the Sapphire post I've been wanting to write for months now. It won't make sense just yet, but trust me. I've got a major post brewing for you.

For now, read Kotze's "Return of the Ring"

Prince William gave Miss Middleton the sapphire and diamond ring that his father, Prince Charles, had given his mother - Diana, Princess of Wales - for their engagement in 1981.

Damnit! I was just about to hit publish too.
Then Drudge goes and updates their headlines with this fun bit of news:

117 and K2 "SuperSized" SinkHoles

After writing about the 11/2 or K2 syncstorm in our last post, news breaks of an 11/2 "supersized" sinkhole:
This is made all the more into a mind blowing sync by the fact that Morgan from the Unraveling stayed with us for one day - that very day - and we watched what else?
Crazyness. Pure beautiful kissed by the universe craziness.

And now we get this incredible (4 minute and 42 second) video of a Brazilian Sink Hole on 10/17 (117):

As always I refer you to the SyncWhole for less dangerous, but no less powerful, syncage.

Sunspot 1117 and the Giraffe at the center of the Sol

Syncs revolving around the number 111 are not uncommon. A simple search will yield a surprising amount of people discussing this phenomenon. Before getting married, my initials were AJA, which become 111 in Pythagorean numerology. Then, I changed my last name to Green, making me 117, which is a nice personal sync since that is Melissa's birthday.

Lately, I have found myself hovering between the use of Abbadessa and Green, as I have worked to build a career for the name Abbadessa and am wrestling with the idea of what a name change would do to undo that work - and whether or not any of that matters. (I'm definitely feeling Ishmael's pain on this one.)
Something I'm not all that fond of, yet find myself doing with increased frequency is hyphenating the two. In other words, I've been putting my name down as Alan J Abbadessa-Green.

That takes us to 1117.

Today, I saw StrangeEye post a link on the SyncWhole Twitter feed about Sunspot 1117.
To me this is already a loaded number, as it is one I now associate with myself - but for many more reasons. The 17 mystery has been discussed at length on Sync blogs.
But, what of the Sync Whole's recent fascination with 127 (or 1 to 7)?
Abbadessa to Green, A to G. 127.
1117 = 1 1+1 7 = 127

Kundalini fire serpent rises from 1 to 7.

Now, if we follow StrangeEye's link, we get a glimpse of Sunspot 1117.
That image struck me as being very much resonant with a video posted 3 months ago from Richard Arrowsmith, a video I only discovered the other day, but immediately fell in love with.
Maybe it's just me, but that sunspot looks a hell of a lot like the giraffe at the center of the Dark Knight of the Sol.

This is a must watch video. Down right fantastic.

Well, Sol is the Sun. And now, the most recent post from the Sync Whole crew is "The Red Knight's Bubble of Fire"

From the Dark Knight to the Red Knight. And, for whatever it is worth, it looks like that bubble of fire is about to go pop!

Oh crap, here's something else that just occurred to me: My family got together at my mom's house two weeks ago and held a garage sale to clear out the basement. The best sellers were by far my old X-Men toys, and I noticed that every kid who came by was fascinated by the "Sunspot" figure. Sunspot was not a mainstream character, so I took note of the strange attraction that the children had towards this particular character.
Only now do I realize that I sold "Sunspot" on 10/17/10 (1117)

While I was at the Gordon Gano and The Ryans performance, I met a man who asked if the seat next to me was free and he immediately began talking about synchronicity. He mentioned that the number 111 was a major repetition in his life. The man turns out to be Lonn Friend, author of "Life on Planet Rock," and he claims to be the only witness to the marriage of Carrie-Anne Moss who played Trinity in the Matrix. Trinity's marriage took place at the home of Lonn's "Kundalini Guru." Of course, 111 and Trinity go hand-in-hand.

What gets me now is that solar symbolism was at the forefront of my mind the whole night, as I wanted to get an interview with Gordon Gano asking him about his use of it throughout his albums. (An interview I did get and you can listen to here)

111, Trinity, the Sol/Soul, the Sun/Son. X-Man or Cross Man. Interesting.
If "X Marks the Spot" (or is it the sun Spot?), then X marks the moment of our X-change.

Where does the Giraffe come in and what does he have to say? Well, in my book, there is a character called The Labyrinthine Giraffe. The story he told me (and yes, it just sort of came to me this way), is that we shouldn't be afraid of things going POP!
This is an excerpt from a chapter I wrote months ago:

They shared a smile then settled down as comfortably as was possible. Both of them feeling stronger for the other’s friendship, they were ready for another story. The Giraffe spoke as follows:

In the beginning there was only The Infinite. There were no limits. All was time; all was space, directions, dimensions: The Infinite expanded in an uninterrupted flow. Then, one day – for lack of a better term, since there was no such thing as a single unit of time – a portion of The Infinite thought itself into existence. One little dot of unmoving tangible mass known as Atom, or the first.

Of course, Atom was still connected to The Infinite in ways neither could understand and so his little tangent acted like an anchor, disrupting the flow and sending ripples throughout The Infinite. Such a curiosity was this lone Atom that other portions thought they should try existing too. Soon, many tangents shot off like tributaries of a great ocean.

Now, there’s no way of saying whether this was a good thing or a bad thing – especially since the concepts of “good” and “bad” hadn’t been invented yet. Some of the children of Atom argued that The Infinite was devolving into a lower state of being. Others argued that this was The Infinite’s way of expanding beyond infinity – in a way that seems perhaps contradictory – that The Finite was a new frontier and therefore represented the next step beyond limitless being. However, for all that they argued amongst each other, it was in their private thoughts that the fiercest debate raged. Each individual struggled to make sense of their new reality. Some of the atoms wanted to go back to the infinite, either due to fear of the unknown or longing for their past or simply to escape their whirling thoughts and countless questions. You see, there wasn’t anything to do but think, since the material world only consisted of loose threads and empty space.

One of the atoms thought he had it figured out better than the others and so, whatever this was, he thought he should be in charge of it. Since there was so much confusion, and since it’s always easier to follow someone else than to figure things out for yourself, a few atoms offered their help. He even convinced them that they would benefit from his rule and could share in his power. This made their devotion unwavering. Of course, he really had nothing to offer them that they didn’t already have. They had already been part of infinite being and, even this new world offered virtually limitless potential, since it had yet to be built. Still, they had been conned in the very first pyramid scheme, and set out to perpetuate the lie. Together, they devised a plan to build something out of that space and to provide all the answers to all those silly questions. They would use the confusion to create order out of chaos.

The Builders of Space set up shop on the corner of a fractal and made their first shape: a simple cube. The other atoms saw this strange thing and asked what it was.

“Why, it’s a home,” The Builders replied, “a place to spend your time. We’ll let you stay in it, but just for a little while.”

The atoms had never seen a cube before and figured it was as good a place to stay as any. The Builders then made more and more shapes and offered them to the atoms. Soon, there were so many shapes on that one fractal, and so many anchors of The Infinite living there, that the flow began to drag. Like slowed traffic along the side of an accident, everyone thought this city of shapes was something to look at, and wanted to be a part of it. There was such an explosion in demand for shapes and the building of homes that The Big Sprawl occurred. The flow became so hindered after this that it chugged along like an ancient steam engine. The atoms stopped asking themselves so many questions and decided that this must be the thing to do in this reality, since that’s what everyone else was doing.

Now that The Builders had a monopoly on Space and could sell anything they built, they began construction on the next phase of the plan, a giant wheel for all their other shapes to turn on. The atoms noticed their city of shapes moving along this wheel and realized that it always returned to the same place it started. The Builders explained that each turn of this wheel was a unit of time, and when each atom’s turn was up, they had to leave the land of shapes.

This terrified the atoms, who finally thought they had things all figured out. If they had to leave the land of shapes, where would they go? They begged and pleaded with The Builders for more time in their homes. The Builders said, “We’re sorry, we cannot help you. If you want to stay on the wheel longer, you’ll have to speak to The Lenders of Time. We just built them a bank down the street and you can find them there.” So the atoms lined up at the door to the bank and made all sorts of deals with The Lenders just to get more time on the wheel.

This plan worked well, and still does to this day. Like carnival operators, the Lenders sell time on a giant Ferris wheel that goes nowhere and keeps everyone too distracted to ask how they got on it. In order to keep it interesting, from time to time the Builders have to upgrade the Lender’s carnival. Over the course of history, they’ve developed all sorts of distractions. From Coliseum games to sex toys, from wars and politics to movies and TV. And that’s where we come in.

It’s all a big show and we’re here as the stage hands and actors. Each and every one of us in these pens was designed with one thought in mind: ratings. It’s what they made us for. Without us, the show becomes dull and people start leaving the theater, they start asking the big questions again.

That’s what they fear the most, that we might start questioning this order they’ve created. But that’s where our power comes in. Once we realize that we choose to be here, that we can write our own destiny and that we still possess all the knowledge and power of The Infinite within each of us, their scam will be exposed for the illusion it is. We are infinite beings; we do not need to beg for more time. We are the elements that make up the universe; we do not need to submit for the privilege of their shelter. Once we realize that, their power structure disappears.

And we begin to live.

Everything begins to (e)merge in Union

I don't often write about politics anymore - much of that conversation just seems like noise and an unnecessary aspect of human existence. But, I understand that the interest I had in political affairs a few years ago was something I needed to experience or I never would have met my wife. So allow me a brief-as-possible backstory, then we'll dive into the synchro-goodies:

The journey
Though no one in my family ever discussed politics or paid it much attention, I grew up drawing cartoons of a character named Umpa, a monkey that was forced into slave labor for a television studio that oppressed the masses via tv programming. Umpa spearheaded a rebellion. I had no politics, sans seeking freedom and opposing authoritarianism. Probably a normal emotion for a child to express - though perhaps an unusual way to express it.
Immediately after 9/11, when I saw my skyline altered and the place I had my HS prom demolished, I was not angry but a bit saddened. However, over the next few days and weeks the propaganda was turned on full force and I was admittedly swayed into the camp of blindly angry Americans.
In 2005, I had my first psychedelic experience and all the programming flew out the window. And I mean all of it - not just the post-9/11 fear-mongering, but all the stuff that had been put into my head throughout my life. This is something that can only be fully understood by someone who has had an ego-death experience.

I existed for a short while with a great inner peace and felt as if I was at one with creation. But, slowly, my ego began to rebuild itself - albeit with new parameters. I felt as if I had to atone for my role in supporting Bush's attack on Iraq and worked to hold him accountable. I attended a lecture on the Impeachment process at a church up in Harlem. That was it - I attended a lecture. I was now considered a terrorist. Over the next few days, I was repeatedly visited by federal agents in black suits who wanted to intimidate me. They broke into my house and searched through my belongings (which, according to the Patriot Act, I cannot tell you about or I am committing another "crime"). It was at this point that I realized what these guys would do to hold onto their imagined power structure, and I was driven to do more research and spent a good deal of time in the depths of conspiracy literature.

When the 2008 election-cycle came about, I supported Ron Paul's candidacy and worked on what I thought was a campaign against tyranny. By February 2008, Ron Paul's run was essentially over and I had to catch up on all my personal responsibilities that I had let slide during the campaign. Realizing that campaign politics were a product of the very system I opposed, I looked for an outlet that better suited me. I began to write about Umpa again, after oh so many years, in a book that would become Look At All The Happy Creatures.
Months passed, and I received a phone call asking if I wanted to go with some of the Ron Paul supporters from NYC out to an event he was holding in Minnesota. It was being held next to, and in opposition of, the RNC. Something told me I had to go - a feeling deep inside, that I had not heard in a long time, told me to say yes and make the trip.

Very often, this is how synchronicity works. We have to travel the long road to get to the right place at the right time.

On September 2nd 2008, in a crowd of 10,000 people, I spotted her. An intense wave of - what can I call it but destiny or a guiding light - drew me to her. Melissa had a glow about her and I knew that she was my future. I tapped her on the elbow and said, "excuse me miss." Two years later, to the day, we married.

Union
There has been much talk lately, both on the national political spectrum and on a personal synchromystic spectrum, of gay marriage. California's Prop 8 was featured on the Sync Whole and is still resonating over on Michael's blog, where he has connected it to the now-familiar 88.

I guess this is a product of my own journey, but what amazes me is that people are still looking to be recognized by The State. Why seek a license (essentially permission) from anyone? I don't care if you are gay or straight, if you find love in this world, you'd better embrace it - and screw what anybody else thinks.
There have been many family members and friends that have offered their advice over the last few months - telling us that we should register for a marriage license, that it would make life easier. But, that's something that doesn't even pop onto my radar anymore, and, if I am forced to think of it, I am repelled by it. What does a third-party bureaucracy have to do with love? What does it have to do with anything?

Though I categorize the political philosophy of Happy Creatures as Libertarian, that's really because it is a less loaded word than anarchy. My biggest issue with Libertarians is that, try as they might to oppose the system, they are still playing somebody else's game. I'm done opposing anybody's system - be that governmental or conspiratorial shadows. I'm not going to fight anybody or anything. I just disregard the noise. I embrace the love.

Kurt Vonnegut, while very often espousing poor political advice, inadvertently gives an amazing metaphor for this way of thinking in the prologue to Timequake. He's talking about a method for writing. I'm talking about a method for living.
"Ernest Hemingway in 1952 published in Life magazine a long short story called The Old Man and the Sea. It was about a Cuban fisherman who hadn't caught anything for eighty-four days. The Cuban hooked an enormous marlin. He killed it and lashed it alongside his boat. Before he could get it to shore, though, sharks bit off all the meat on the skeleton.
I was living in Barnstable Village on Cape Cod when the story appeared. I asked a neighboring commercial fisherman what he thought of it. He said the hero was an idiot. He should have hacked off the best chunks of meat and put them in the bottom of the boat, and left the rest of the carcass for the sharks.
It could be that the sharks Hemingway had in mind were critics who hadn't much liked his first novel in ten years, Across the River and into the Trees, published two years earlier. As far as I know, he never said so. But the marlin could have been that novel.
And then I found myself in the winter of 1996 the creator of a novel which did not work, which had no point, which had never wanted to be written in the first place. Merde! I had spent nearly a decade on that ungrateful fish, if you will. It wasn't even fit for shark chum.
I had recently turned seventy-three. My mother made it to fifty-two, my father to seventy-two. Hemingway almost made it to sixty-two. I had lived too long! What was I to do?
Answer: Filet the fish. Throw the rest away."

This is also good advice on how to write a blog post, so let me assume I've made my point and give you what you really came here for...

In our last post, we overlapped heavily with the Fiery Birth post from the Sync Whole. The US Open logo I wanted to write about looked exactly like the meteor impact placard they found near a Canadian lake. They later added more content to that post, and made it even more in sync. They went into tennis syncs as well and then wrote about two weddings that started a conversation on Union. All this, days before our wedding!

Here is the US Open poster I had stared at in the subway. It makes the logo look even more like a meteor by the way it flies over the city. See the Sync Whole's follow-up to the Fiery Birth, a post about a meteor crashing in Columbia on September 5th, for a record of just how strong the flow is these days. The hits just keep on coming!
And, speaking of great balls of fire, I would be remiss if I did not point out that the US Open is held at the Arthur Ashe stadium!
By passing through the center of the tennis racket, the ball becomes even more resonant of a sun by creating a circumpunct. It also reminds me of a bullseye. Kinda like the Martian impact crater (formed by more falling celestial bodies) we were shown on August 4th of all days.
Perhaps, telling us to find our center, this bullseye is found again on the cover for the Pink Floyd collection, Echoes.
Note how much of this current study stems out of a look at the symbolism of the fires of the Pentecost, and the man who has just passed the bullseye (emerged from his center) is on fire.

Echoes
The word "echoes" is another familiar sign these days. Just as I was typing "echoes" into google search to find that album art, the auto-fill gave me "Echoes of the Rainbow," a movie with a poster that brings us back to the August 4th double-rainbow and features a cross (X-marks the spot).

But I can't think of "Echo" without thinking of John Lilly's ECCO, you know, those beyond-our-perception buggers who control coincidences here on earth. While I can't attest for the things Lilly believes he discovered while exploring the human limits of psychedelic intake - I do not entirely dismiss them either. Lord knows I learned a lot from my experiences.
I like how the artwork done for Lilly's ECCO from the futurehi website features dolphins. Which brings us to Ecco the dolphin - a game brought to us by Genesis. I never knew this, but that game also involved time-travel and space beings.
Dolphins crossed paths with meteors and comets again recently in this NosisTV video:

After watching that video, what's funny to me is that, with so much talk of Panspermia lately, I had used the Peach tree as an analogy for the possible propagation of plant consciousness. I said that a peach tree gives you delicious fruit for you to eat so you'll crap it out at a distance with your own fertilizer. Would not the Mushroom spore or Cannabis plant invite you to cultivate it so that it can continue on and use your nervous system when necessary?
That's an explanation for "the green movement" I haven't heard yet.

That reminds me, you may have noticed the name change over on the side there. When I realized that it may be the cause for all the Osiris-syncs I was experiencing, I had briefly mentioned that I would be changing my last name to Green in an older post. In one of our first phone conversations, Melissa and I spoke about favorite colors. We both adore the color green. I said, super early on in that first or second conversation, that if we ever got married we could change our last name to Green. And so we have.

We passed through the center...merged...
...and emerged green.

Oh, and we passed through the marriage stargate at exactly 4:02:32 PM.

My initials change from (AJA)111 to (AJG)117, which is Melissa's birthday, so that's pretty cool. That also means that I'm now AG which is 17 in numerology terms and the element silver.
Green is the color of the heart chakra, and therefore quite appropriate for a celebration of love.

But green has its modern connection to Echo/Ecco as well, since we often see the pairing of "green" and "eco."
gotta love that green sun there, eh?

We held our wedding at Bear Mountain, which encodes the B&M combo that is always familiar around here, but that wasn't the only interesting sync. There are four cabins at Bear Mountain (Beaver, Spring, Echo, and Summit) and we were going to rent one out. The closest one to the wedding site was Beaver, but I didn't want to tell people I was getting married at the Beaver lodge - just gives off the wrong vibe. I didn't like Summit, so we had to decide between Spring and Echo. "Spring" sounds nice, but a bit plain. I wondered if "Echo" was a bit too loaded.

Then, as we're making this choice, a guy on the street randomly hands me this book:
Suffice it to say, we chose "Echo"

And, there is another explanation to "Echo" besides that provided by Lilly. I recall that I had made a connection between The Green Man and reverberating sound. We had about 50 people at our wedding. Knowing us, it was probably 51.

I know this post is a little all over the place, but that's how it is. Our wedding was a wonderful celebration from the heart - and it overlapped with all these other intellectual pursuits. I don't wish to give the impression that I believe our day was controlled by John Lilly's ECCO or mushroom spores floating through space or anything else. Instead, I think that following a non-judgmental path of synchronicity we were able to recognize patterns even within our most special day. Honestly, there's just too many to recount here. But, that's the way Melissa and I have travelled together since we met. Never judging, always flowing, always loving.

On September 11th (boy is it cheap to fly that day) we leave for our HONEY-MOON in the fire-resonant land of Kali-Fornia.
